Book / eBook Source

I found my book in the CloudLibrary eBook Collection. I decided to choose this resource, because it had a variety of different articles about my topic that looked interesting as well as informational. The source relates to my topic because it is focused on organic food as it pertains to means of production, consumption, and promotion. This source is an ebook which I prefer, because it is accessible at all times. This source was from 2017. There were two authors for my source. The first was Ioannis Kareklas, an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University at Albany, School of Business. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Connecticut in 2010. The second author is Darrel D. Muehling, a professor and chair of the WSU Carson College of Business’ Department of Marketing and International Business at WSU who has his Ph.D in Business Administration with an emphasis on marketing. The subject heading that was used is "natural foods industry" which correctly describes the information contained in the eBook. The table of contents tells me that it explores many topics related to how organic food is marketed, the decision making process of buying organic, and other organic food topics related to production. I would rate this source a 3. The source has a lot of information about the organic food market, but does not touch on health effects or about the specific differences between organic and non-organic foods.
